The European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group is aiming to create a central, internationally recognized source of excellence by imparting knowledge on hygienic engineering of equipment and by specifying best practices in respect to their hygienic operation, supply and maintenance. Hygienic Design becomes increasingly important in conjunction with food safety and product liability. The optimization of cleaning processes and cleanability, material traceability, process integration and guidance in how to follow the existing requirements and standards are in the focus of interest of equipment manufacturers and food producers. The congress aims at sharing our know-how and at raising the awareness of EHEDG on a global scale. The event is designed to create and strengthen the international network in the field of Hygienic Engineering & Design and to learn about new approaches and current trends. The event addresses the international CEOs, decision makers and experts from companies involved in the manufacturing of food and food equipment, professionals from companies supplying engineering services as well as quality managers responsible for food safety control. Scientists, governmental officials and NGO representatives working in the fields of hygienic engineering and design, food production, food processing, food quality and safety, innovative technologies, new trends in food safety, disinfectants and sanitizers are also encouraged to participate same as NGOs and association representatives.
