Objectives & Scope
• Objectives
– Expose students to the potential of Mobile Visual
Search technology
– Boost Mobile Visual Search APP development in
Singapore
• Scope
– Develop a mobile application that directly calls one or
more of the APIs provided.
– Develop a mobile application that calls a server side
engine, which makes use of one or more of the APIs
provided.
How to Participate?
• Open to all students, alumni, faculty, staff and aspiring
entrepreneurs
– Teams of 2 - 4 competitors (<1 must be a NTU student)
– Team diversity is encouraged
– Team members must reside in Singapore during the competition period
• Develop Mobile Apps
– Any kind of App: eCommerce, Education, Games, Social Media, etc
– Need to make use of Image Recognition API of WeChat Smart Platform
• All Intellectual Property rights will belong to the team
