Thank you's to Board Members & Summer Hostesses, Mr. Gomprecht, Mrs. Napoli & Fr. Devron, as well as Nancy Zajac (Vineyard Vines fundraiser) II. FPMC Job Openings a. 7 positions currently available - NOF Ad Journal Designer - Blazer & Ties Swap Co-Chair - Online Book Fair - Christmas Party Shadow - Meeting Hospitality Chair - Website Shadow - Freshman Retreat Food Coordinator III. Gridiron Club's Homecoming BBQ a, October 25, 2014 @ 12:00 - 2:30 pm IV. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - Wendy Gittings V. Vice President's Report - Thelma Collado a. Autumn Reception (Thelma Collado & Courtney Donoghue) - October 14, 2014 - freshman & sophomore moms - very social - sign up for committees VI. Mrs. Pinero - Chair of Modern Language Dept a. Afro-Carribean Night - bilingual Mass, guest speaker, performances, dinner & dance, for all family members, $10/person - 2 Surface Pros being raffled off VII. Treasurer's Report - Sheila Sohr a. $250,000 cash donation to FP last school year b. $27,000 Christmas collection for faculty - $225/faculty member - $292,000 total support to Prep (2013-2014) c. $15,000 in bank at present time (membership dues, Ram Raffle & donations) VIII. Membership Secretary's Report - Patricia Roeder a. 78 ppl currently signed up - $2320 in dues + additional funds = $2775 IX. Corresponding Secretary's Report - Regina Martorello a. opening for 2015-2016 school year X. Recording Secretary's Report - Mariellen Ryan a. minutes typed & sent for review b. placed on FPMC's website XI. Website Coordinator's Report - Beth Bronzo a. quick links to membership registration, volunteer forms, event registration b. payments are done on-line c. Spanish link XII. Outreach Coordinator - Mary Leitner a. began 2014-2015 school year - need lots of representatives throughout community - "eyes" and "ears" for the FP community - reach out to families in need during difficult times - not a huge commitment - need volunteer's contact info XIII. Reports of Committee Chairs a. Ram Raffle - Trish Heslin & Nora Apostle - 515 tickets to be sold, $100/ticket(65 sold) - purchase by 10/31, placed in a drawing for: 4 tickets to NOF, limo for NOF & set of raffle tix - all tickets should be sold by December - Grand Prize $15,000 - raises $36,500 for school - pulled @ Winter Party - class w/highest participation receives "Dress Down" day b. Staff Appreciation - Christie Sturges & Colleen Wagner - various special treats for faculty & staff throughout year - volunteers to bake c. Ambassador Moms - Maureen Fearon - socialize w/freshman moms at freshman events d. Thanksgiving Family Mass - Anita Dziwura & Fran D’Alesandro - November 23, 2014 - replacing the May Communion breakfast - coordinated w/FPFC - in conjunction w/boys' can food drive e. Tapas for Tablets Meg McAward, Ann Pike & Nancy Sullivan - October 2, 2014, Hall of Honor, $25/person, Device Assistance Funds, w/FPFC, brings fathers & mothers together f. Blazer & Tie Swap - Regina Martorello - need a co-chair - boys go "shopping" for gently used clothes - have included pants g. Christmas Party - Barbarann McLaughlin & Deb Miano - December 10, 2014, 300 women, Commons, raffled baskets, dinner & drinks h. Winter Party Denise Faulkes, Beth McGrath, Cathy McCordick & Julia Rogers - January 1, 2015, Pine Tavern, couples night, dinner, drinks, DJ & dancing, fundraiser i. Senior Mother/Son Dance JoAnn Scambia & Catherine Mascia - February 2, 2015 (snow date - 2/27/15) - traditional event, hostesses needed(only if you have had a FP graduate) j. Morning of Spiritual Renewal Connie Deutmeyer, Erin Tracy & Michele Velle - March 7, 2015 - "Fill our Cups" & "Replenish our Souls" k. NOF - Marissa Granelli & Lydia Tucci - Wednesday, March 25, 2015, 500 women, volunteer in many capacities, attendance, raffles, senior moms model, over $170,000 raised XIV. Mr. Carney - Campus Ministry, Dir. of Ignatian Formation - spoke & shared on the Examen XV. Fr. Devron - 30 devices have been made available to boys for the 1:1 computer program XVI.
