The Centennial Celebration marking the Centennial Year of the Archdiocese of
Winnipeg will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the MTS Centre.
SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION — This year, in conjunction with the
celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, the

VALENTINE’S BRUNCH – Sunday, February 8
The Catholic Women’s League are inviting everyone to their Annual Valentine’s Brunch on Sunday, February 8
following the Masses at 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Following the Mass at 8:00 a.m., all are invited for coffee and donuts in
our parish hall. All are invited to the hall where the ladies will be serving a delicious Brunch (eggs, bacon, sausages,
pancakes and toast) for us to enjoy. Cost of the brunch is $7 each for adults; $3.50 for children between the ages of 3-7
and free for children under the age of 3. We ask to please come and help support their endeavor. Bring your families and
friends and enjoy a nice breakfast and warm fellowship with our parish community.

SHARING GOD’S GIFTS 2014
 The goal for our parish for Year 2014 was:

A sincere thank you to all who donated in support of this Appeal. It
is very difficult for our parish to pay the shortfall we have each year.
We are sincerely hoping that this year all parishioners will help to
support this Appeal which we are obligated to pay each year to the
Archdiocese. All donations will be issued an Income Tax Receipt
from the Archdiocese of Winnipeg.
SYNOD OF BISHOPS will be held in the fall of 2015. In preparation for the
Synod, the Holy See has asked for a response from all the faithful to a questionnaire which the Synod Fathers will discuss at their meeting. This questionnaire may be found on the Archdiocesan website to which all are invited to
take part in along with a letter from the Archbishop . Deadline is February 16.
CHILLER FUNDRAISER - To date we have raised $56,015.00. We still
have to raise $10,275.00 to reach our goal and hope in our hearts that
everyone will support this appeal and we will be able to raise this full
amount. As the Church has to pay a large amount for Sharing God’s
Gifts, all donations would be greatly appreciated to help us reach our
goal for this fundraiser. All donations will be credited towards your
Income Tax Receipts. We sincerely thank all those who have supported
this fundraiser to date. Thank you to the following:

PARISH RADIO PROGRAM has been broadcast for many years
on CKJS 810 AM Radio. Each month we must pay $1,333.00 to
broadcast our program which amounts to $16,000.00 annually. If
we are not able to raise the funds, we will have to cancel our program which is listened to by many, especially the sick and elderly
and those who are not able to be with us at our Eucharistic Celebrations. The total collected to date is $15,298.00. Unfortunately we
did not reach our goal for the Year 2014 and had to pay the balance
owing of $702. We would like to mention that the parish is unable
to cover this shortfall each year and we are sincerely hoping that
we will be able to reach our goal for this year to prevent us from
having to cancel this program.
