Breakfast with Santa and Children’s Play – December 6
The Warren Township High School Alumni Foundation in
conjunction with the Warren Theatre will be hosting the
annual Breakfast with Santa and Children’s Play on
Saturday, December 6, 2014 at the Almond Campus,
located at 34090 Almond Road, Gurnee.
The Breakfast with Santa runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m. Tickets are $7 for ages 11 and up, $5 for ages
3-10, and free for ages 2 and under. Breakfast
includes eggs, bacon, pancakes, and choice of juice,
coffee and milk.
Children can have their picture taken with Santa for
an additional $5. Warren’s Vocal Velocity will provide
musical entertainment during the breakfast.
Warren’s Vocal Velocity singers are: Brianna Bozek,
Kyle Cassidy, Taylor Cygan, Jaylen Davis, Jared
Garner, Stephanie Habel, JaMia Johnson-Rockingham, Brian Kim, Michael Knighton,
Mallory Lense, A.J. Lingad, Diego Martin, Maya McGowan, Matt Oye, Marisa Perry,
Michael Rice, Nicolas Roman-Ahlgrim, Sami Salmi, Erin Siekmann, Anna Skelton, Carla
Stelsel, and Brian Urquhart.
The Children’s play is Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr. Fox, a play adapted by David Wood,
featuring talented WTHS students playing the roles of the familiar storybook characters, is
sure to entertain children and adults of all ages.
The children’s play has two showings; 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Almond Campus
Black Box Theatre. The cost is $4 for children/students and $6 for adults.
Mr. Fox has taken food from farmers Boggis, Bunce, and Bean one time too many. Now
the farmers are out for revenge. In this animal story, similar to Robin Hood, Mr. Fox must
help his family survive and overcome the farmers' obstacles along the way! Will Mr. Fox
save the day and help his family and fellow diggers? Come and find out!
This show is geared toward children 3-7 years of age, but it will be enjoyed by the whole
family.
