The Borrower specified in the PDS has applied for a Japanese ODA
Loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (hereinafter
referred to as “JICA”), with the number, in the amount, and on the
signed date of the Loan Agreement specified in the PDS, towards the
cost of the project named in the PDS. The Borrower intends to apply a
portion of the proceeds of the loan to payments under the contract
resulting from the bidding for which this prequalification is conducted.
The Borrower specified in the PDS has applied for a Japanese ODA

25.1 All Applicants whose Applications substantially meet or exceed the
specified qualification requirements will be prequalified by the
Employer.

for process of shortlisting/ prequalification. JICA Guidelines
stipulates three (3) to five (5) Applicants to be shortlisted/ prequalified for issue of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and
submission of technical & financial bids. In order to meet the
above requirement, the Employer will rank the Applicants based on
specific “similar consultancy” experience, in order of total route
length of double-track metro rail under three best projects/
contract for which general consultancy services provided by each
Applicant.
