The loader is suitable for conveying granular naturals, additives and dusty regrinds due to the integrated exhaust filter. Operation The loader operates by creating a vacuum with a supply of compressed air. The compressed air creates an air flow which pulls material over a local distance of 3 meters to feed throughputs up to 70 Kg/hr with the supplied standard length hose and probe. The operation is controlled by an adjustable level sensor mounted to the Pyrex Feed tube below the loader, ensuring an efficient process overall for small throughput applications. Once the hopper is loaded, the Venturi tops up small amounts often for efficient operation. A visual no load alarm is standard. The Pyrex Tube also allows users to easily view current operation and load status. The loader lid opens by releasing two quick release latches and the user then has rapid access to the large cartridge filter and screen, as well as the loader body for easy cleaning. NMS-240 Mounting Bracket The optional NMS-240 mounting bracket allows for the automatic loading of AWF auger feeders. The bracket attaches to the side of the WSB hopper and a flexible hose feeds the material into the AWF hopper. This is easily disconnected for hopper removal and cleaning. Centralised Conveying System Applications Centralised feeding systems are ideal for conveying automatically plastics raw materials to production, especially when the conveying distance from storage to production is long. Conveying of granule materials are provided through a series of rigid pipe lines, connected to a centralised vacuum pump or pumps, equipped with dedicated central filter. These systems have been designed to meet customer’s expectations and to work with plastic granules with a wide range of sizes and densities, and also include materials such as flakes and/or regrind materials, with throughputs up to 5000 Kg/h. The optional “MMS” (material speed control) device enhances conveying optimising conveying speed for each type of plastic granule, avoiding formation of angel hair, wear of pipes and abrasion / damage of materials causing for example powders. In addition, Maguire’s experience can offer specific solutions for conveying high temperature materials, providing consistent performance for materials that have been dried.
