The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art (is) in heaven,
hallowed be thy (your) name.
Thy (Your) Kingdom come,
thy (your) will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who
trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine (yours) is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen
Apostles’ creed
I believe in God,
the Father Almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ,
God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand
of the Father;
from there he will come to judge
the living from the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

Anthem
Jesu, Word of God Incarnate by
Edward Elgar (1857-1934)
Jesu, Word of God Incarnate,
of the virgin Mary born,
On the cross thy sacred body
for us men with nails was torn
Cleanse us, by thy blood and water
Streaming from thy pierced side;
Feed us with thy body broken,
Now in death’s agony!
O Jesu, hear us Son of Mary.
