REGIONAL AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH STATION
Tarahara, Sunsari
 Established in 2016 B.S. as BiratKrishi Farm with the objective of crop research. Later, in 2048 B.S, established as Regional Agricultural Research Station under Nepal Agricultural Research Council
(NARC). The station conducts various agricultural researches on crop, horticulture, fisheries, buffalo, piggery, forage, poultry, and source seed and breed production program.
 The station has 104 ha area. It covers six neighboring districts: Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Siraha and Udaypur as command areas.
 There are about 74 staffs including 9 scientists, 25 technical officers, 3 administrative officers and remaining assistants and technicians.
