TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF HYBRID JOWAR SSG
MULTICUT SEED ON CONSIGNMENT BASIS
Haryana Seeds Development Corporation Ltd. is interested to purchase 1200 qtls. hybrid Jowar
seed for sale on consignment basis during Kharif-2014. The terms and conditions are as under:i)
Supplier’s offer should be valid for at least two months. Supply of the entire quantity by the
successful tenderer is required to be completed within stipulated period at given destination from
the receipt of HSDC’s purchase order.
ii)
HSDC may increase or decrease the indent/requirement from the quantity indicated in the NIT.
iii)
The seed is required in 5 Kg. packing size bag.
iv)
Delivery of seed shall be F.O.R. Haryana destinations.
v)
The tenderer shall indicate the precise quantity that can be supplied & the most competitive
supply rate per qtl. F.O.R. Haryana.
vi)
Rate should be quoted in Rs. per qtl. inclusive of secondary packing. The tax, if any, applicable
will be borne by the supplier.
vii)
Seed stock should conform to the minimum seed certification standards prescribed. The supplier
will provide the test report alongwith the seed.
viii)
Supplier shall be solely responsible for the quality of seed and complaint/liability, if any, that will
be borne by supplier.
ix)
Tender shall be accompanied with EMD @ 2% of the quoted value in the form of demand draft in
favour of Haryana Seeds Dev. Corpn. Ltd., Panchkula. Tender without EMD will be rejected.
x)
Tenders will be received at Haryana Seeds Dev. Corpn. Ltd., Bays No. 3-6, Sector-2, Panchkula
upto 02.00 p.m. on 05.03.2014 and will be opened & negotiated the rates and other terms &
conditions of supply on same day i.e. 05.03.2014 at 03.00 p.m. in the presence of the committee
members & representatives of supplier companies. Tenders received after due date & time will
liable to be rejected.
xi)
Payment of seed will be released after sale of seed and getting bills & lot wise test reports from
supplier and GR of sold qty. from HSDC units.
xii)
One kg. true sample of hybrid Jowar (multicut) seed be supplied alongwith tender.
xiii)
Minimum qty. of hybrid Jowar SSG Multicut seed to be offered for supply should not be less than
1000 qtls.
xiv)
In case L1 supplier is not in a position to supply the required qty. as per NIT, HSDC may split
order to L2 & L3 parties on merit.
xv)
Supplier’s failure to arrange the supply of seed as per terms & conditions, HSDC will be entitled
to forfeit the EMD.
xvi)
The tenderers should be seed producer/organizer.
xvii)
The tenderer should have at least two years experience in govt. seed supply.
xviii) The party who is under litigation with HSDC or any enquiry is pending against the supplier on
account of supply of seed in the past, is not liable to participate in the tender.
xix)
HSDC reserves the right to reject any/all tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
xx)
The supplier is liable to compensate HSDC in case of any claim admitted due to quality of seeds
or court orders.
NOTE :-Sealed tenders to be submitted to HSDC in enclosed format superscribed as “TENDER
FOR HYBRID JOWAR (SSG MULTICUT) SEED”.
