ISCC Canola Self Declaration

ISCC 202-03
Self declaration form for non-European Farms in compliance with ISCC sustainability requirements.
It is a requirement for all Australian canola seed destined for the EU to be certified under the ISCC (International
Sustainability and Carbon Certification). ADM Trading Australia Pty Ltd currently holds an ISCC certificate therefore
it is a requirement that our growers become certified to ensure the ADM supply chain meets the formal
requirements as set by the ISCC body. This document represents the farmers self declaration / assessment form.
The Sustainablity Directive is largely focused on “best practice”. I hereby confirm that the seed produced and supplied
complies with the requirements of the Sustainability Directive (please tick where appropriate below):
1.
Does the seed come from farmland that was already farmland before 1/1/2008 (i.e. no
land resultant of land clearing from 1/1/2008 has been used to produce the canola seed)?
2.
You can confirm the seed is not produced from areas within protected areas? All official
restrictions for protected areas are complied with.
Documentation for the production and location of the seed i.e. proof via maps, satellite images,
legal ownership and farm records of relevant cropping activities (according to chapter 26
Sustainability Ordinances): Please tick where appropriate below-

Is with me and readily available upon request.
Is with the first gathering point (Bulk Handler) of the seed supplied by me.
Crop fertilisers and chemicals are stored and handled in a safe and environmentally
responsible way in compliance with ISCC requirements? Care and best practice is adhered
to when use of these crop inputs are applied.
I hereby declare I fulfil the ISCC requirements for the production of the sustainable seed

For the calculation of the greenhouse gas balance, the default value 688kg CO2 eq/mt shall be used
(chapter 8 and annex 2 of the Sustainability Ordinances).
