Compared to last week steers sold 10.00 to 18.00 lower and heifers sold 7.00 to 13.00 lower. Demand was light to moderate early in the week
after several days of limit losses in the CME cattle pits. Demand picked up on Thursday and Friday after the cattle boards started to post positive
gains. Nebraska slaughter cattle sold lower on the week, live sales traded 157.00 to 160.00, 3.00 to 4.00 lower and dressed sales sold from 249.00
to 252.00, 5.00 to 7.00 lower. Cattle on feed inventory was at 101 percent of a year ago; placements at 96 percent of a year ago; marketings at 89
percent of a year ago. Feeder supply this week comprised of 71 percent steers with 60 percent over 600 lbs. Wishing everyone a Merry
