Harris Faculty Club 5303 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas Time: 4 – 8 PM, Doors open at 3:30 PM Cost: Free to members, guests age 12+ $30, children under 12, $15 (checks only). A full dinner, including dessert and drink, will be served. Parking is safe and plentiful and by now familiar: Enter the James Aston valet parking garage on south side of Harry Hines and go to level “D”. Enter the club from that level. Seating is on a first come – first serve basis. Seat saving is not encouraged. If you like, you may bring your home-baked goodies to share prior to dinner. Another year is fast coming to an end and some members may be eligible for dues abatement. Those who qualify will receive a letter from the membership director. Remember, membership has to be continuous, uninterrupted, for 20 years to qualify. All others, please pay $18 pp. by December 31, 2014 so as not to lose membership privileges. The Fourth Annual Texas Christkindl Market in Arlington, 1098 Ballpark Way, is scheduled for November 28 – December 21. A featured vendor is Käthe Wohlfahrt of Rothenburg, Germany. The Dallas Frohsinn will participate with Christmas songs on Saturday, November 29th, beginning with the Alphorn at 2 o’clock. Admission and parking is free.
