For three days, students took on roles of European politicians debating on current global issues. Each student was assigned a specific country and political party and debated issues from that point of view. Students had to find a balance between their own opinions and their assigned roles. Two students from the Canadian section of Afnorth had the honour of leading the event in their roles as president (Claudius Karich) and vice president (Sophia Essrich). In addition, the team from Afnorth took home the best delegation award. ”I was amazed by the devotion and commitment that students put into the weekend”, president Karich said. “It was the ultimate international experience”.
