Our Philosophy
Our philosophy centers on player development. Player
development is a paradigm that focuses on developing each
individual player to their full potential instead of focusing on
team accolades. This paradigm promotes the development
of creative, skillful, and intrinsically motivated players. This
approach provides a player the best opportunity to reach
their goals whether its earning more playing time, making
the high school team, college team, etc.
Our club offers a variety of programs for players of different
needs and experience levels. Please check out all the new

Our New Academy
New Programs 2015
**All Programs are open to boys and girls,
current FSCI members and non-members
SOCCERNASTICS (Ages 3-4) 6 Week Session $80
Gross motor skill / soccer fundamentals. Parents play and learn
about the game alongside their kids, beginning our club-wide
parent education program. For 45 minutes a week, 6 weeks per
season, the players learn to run, jump, skip, dribble, and move
the ball with all the surfaces of the foot.

ACADEMY
JOGA (Ages 5-6)
TOTAL FUTBOL ACADEMY (Ages 9-10) $185
Inspired by Dutch coaching philosophies, this academy
program is the transition between the recreational side
of FSCI Phoenix and the travel program. The program
offers exposure to a better soccer environment that will
enhance a player’s skills and approach to the game. The
objective of Academy training is to provide our players
with an environment that promotes learning, creative
thinking, problem solving, skill development and love for
the game. TFA games will be scheduled on a rotational
basis, which will include tournaments as well. While
winning and losing is part of a soccer game, the main
focus is the individual and technical development of the
players in a competitive environment. Players will be
coached by FSCI professional staff coaches who have
worked at various competitive levels in the game. This
program is designed for the fully committed player that
aspires to play in our competitive travel program.
FSCI SKILLZ SCHOOL (Ages 8-12)
6 Week Sessions $100
A skill development program that works on the basic
fundamentals of the youth soccer game: dribbling, passing, and
receiving. With FSCI professional staff coaches at every
session, the players get 30 minutes of skills training and 20-30
minutes of the game, once a week for 6 weeks! Joga is a great
program for beginners and “more experienced” players.

The FSCI Skillz School is designed for the player that
wants better coaching and training than what’s offered
in a traditional recreation league or classic league
program. Players train with professional coaches and
learn the game in a fun recreational environment. Learn
the Phoenix way!

TTP is designed for the dedicated player looking to develop in Spotsylvania High School

TOCA (Ages 7-8)
6 Week Sessions $100
Serves as a bridge between Joga and FSCI’s Total Futbol
Academy (TFA). TOCA is for players who want to have that
GOLDEN TOUCH. TOCA will provide instruction in small-sided
games, where players will have more opportunities to have the
ball and make decisions. Emphasis will be placed on
foundational skills such as ball control, receiving, shielding,
running with the ball, passing, turning, moves to get past an
opponent, and shooting
