May they have patience and joy in their God-pleasing work. 3 Tuesday Pray for Jonathan Burmeister, interim translation consultant for LBTC projects, that he would perform his duties with joy. 4 Wednesday Pray for Linda Lingard, Chair of the Board of Directors of LBTC, that she may exercise her office with wisdom and love. 5 Thursday prayer day Pray for Kwanja translators Nganko Emmanuel and Jerome, who work with the Webers in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. 6 Friday Pray for Mike and Kara Kuhn, and their children, as they adjust to Mike's busy school schedule in British Columbia. 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 Pray for LBT and LBTC staff and missionaries suffering from all types of disease. Pray for comfort and for effective treatments. Pray for Chris LaBoube as he continues partnership development in various places. Pray that efforts to control the spread of the Ebola virus in West Africa and elsewhere will be successful. Pray that God would protect our partners in Liberia and Sierra Leone from the Ebola virus and enable them to continue their work. Praise God for the service of Peter Weber, LBTC office support worker. Pray for missionary children who are working from home with volunteers or their parents to work through study modules. Give thanks and praise to God for all grandparents, who share their love and wisdom with their families, and who encourage them to stay in the Word. Pray for those who travel for mission work, for business, family, or vacation. May God protect every wing, fender, and wheel. Pray for Rev. Dr. Jim Keller, Executive Director of LBTC. May God bless his efforts as he guides LBTC in 2015. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Kpengapse Aubert and the Dowayo project from Poli, Cameroon. Pray that God would continue to protect and guide LBTC missionaries and staff as they serve in different areas of the world. Praise God for the contributions of Tara Bradley, Accounting Supervisor and Office Manager at LBTC. Pray for the work and ministry of Rev. Daniel Touka, translator and consultant with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cameroon. Pray for the seminaries and colleges of the Church, and their commitment to producing pastors, teachers and Bible translators. Pray for all prefield missionaries as they share their ministries with various churches and individuals and seek prayer and financial partners to join them. Pray for the Bible Society of Botswana, and Rob and Eshinee Veith, as they continue their work in Scripture engagement and music preservation. Pray for success and safety for Martin and Joan Weber as they serve among various people groups in Cameroon. Pray for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon (EELC), as they bring the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of Cameroon. Saturday Pray for all those considering a career in Bible translation and literacy training. May God bless their deliberations toward this God-pleasing work. Mike and Kara Kuhn and their children as Mike returns to school in British Columbia. 4 Wednesday Pray that the Themne translation team in Sierra Leone will be able to continue to work and that they remain safe from the Ebola virus. 5 Thursday pRAYER DAY Pray that Cameroonians participating in training courses would strengthen their reporting and computer skills, as well as their visioning. 6 Friday Praise God His saving Word, and for all persons committed to bringing the Word to all nations. 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 Thank God that the Kpelle and Kisi Bibles have been translated and are presently being distributed in Liberia. Praise God for Rev. Touka Daniel as he coordinates LBTC translation projects with the local Cameroon Lutheran Church. Praise God for the service of Tim Kuhl, member of the Board of Directors of LBTC. Praise God for the Vute team, Alfred and Valentine, who have been such a great help to Martin and Joan Weber. Thank God for the Kwanja lectionary project that will go to print in the summer. May it be a blessing for the Lutheran Church in Cameroon. Give thanks that the Konso people of Ethiopia now have 70% of the Bible translated into their language. Pray for Rev. Chuck and Karen Tessaro and the Utugwang (Nigeria) language project. May God send more workers into this harvest field. Pray for all the unique collaborative translation projects continuing in Nigeria under the auspices of the Lutheran Church of Nigeria. Pray for the Bible Society of Botswana, and Eshinee and Rob Veith, as they continue their work in Scripture engagement and music preservation. Pray for LBTC staff that will travel to congregations and conventions in 2015. Pray for good connections. Praise God and pray for the service of Rev. Gary Aicken on the Board of Directors of LBTC. Praise God and pray for the service of Gord Martens, newest member of the Board of Directors of LBTC. Pray for wisdom and discernment for Kpengapse Aubert and the Dowayo project from Poli, Cameroon. Pray for Amanda Smith, and all persons now considering translation and literacy as their full-time vocations. Give thanks to God that He has blessed the Nsenga (Zambia) translation efforts. The team hopes to dedicate the New Testament in 2016. Pray for Jonathan Burmeister, interim translation consultant for LBTC. Pray that God would provide expertise and resources to the Mende (Sierra Leone) Bible Project. Pray for all those who will see the Jesus film in Kusaal (Ghana). May the Lord speak to them and touch their hearts with the Gospel.
