If you are interested in having a voice at our school and making a difference, then running to be a part of student council may be just what you were looking for. Please dress in something you can move easily. Prepare a 16 bar or 1 minute portion of a song, preferably a Broadway musical piece with a background track if you would like to audition for one of the lead roles. All others may sing a Capella for chorus roles. Wednesday is acting, no need to prepare as it is a cold reading. Thursday is call backs. Auditioners must attend all 3 days of auditions to be considered for a role and the first rehearsal will be Friday, February 6. Charlie Brown will be presented April 22, 23, & 24. Dear Parent/Guardian: January, 2015 To further assist your son/daughter to prepare for the Nevada High School Proficiency Examinations in Math, tutoring programs will be provided on Palo Verde High School’s campus. Weekly sessions will be offered to students beginning January 27th through February 26th, for our 11th and 12th grade students. Dates/Times: Math Tutorial: Time: 2:40 PM – 3:40 PM First Week: January 26th, 28th, 30th Second Week: February 2nd, 4th, 6th Third Week: February 9th, 11th Fourth Week: February 18th, 20th Fifth Week: February 23rd, 25th, 27th The tutoring program has been designed to supplement the remediation and assistance being provided during the regular school day. Student commitment to attending all weekly sessions during this fiveweek time frame should positively reflect on his/her performance on the Nevada High School Proficiency Examination.
