What: The 2015 STEM & Career Exploration Expo is going to be a great day of career exploration for ALL Minneapolis Public Schools 6th grade students. Students will explore a variety of career options that require a strong academic foundation in science, math, technology, engineering, design thinking, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on, interactive exhibits sponsored by MPS community partners will be designed to increase student interest in career opportunities related to Minnesota’s career fields that keep our economy strong: Business, Management & Administration, Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, Arts, Communications, & Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing & Technology, Health Sciences, and Human Services. The day will be filled with displays, conversation, and demonstrations designed to engage students in dynamic conversations about the many career options available to them. 2.
