Then they shout, “Hey Batter Batter,” takes off the baseball/softball shirt, helmet, and glove, and run back to the starting point so the next person in line can do the same thing. The first team to get all of its players across the finish line wins. Batty Beach Ball: Children will be divided into two teams. The first person on each team is given a ball. Once they hear the signal to begin, the first person on each team runs to the finish line while batting the ball in the air using a wiffle bat. Children may not use their hands or any part of their body to keep the ball in the air. If a child touches the ball or drops it to the ground, he or she must return to the starting line and start over. After players reach the finish line, they run back to the start and pass the ball off to the next player. The first team to finish the race wins. Dizzy Bat: Children will be divided into two teams. Children will bend over and put their forehead on the end of the baseball/softball bat. Keeping their head on the end of the bat, they will spin around in 10 circles. Once they are done spinning, they try to run the bases as fast as they can. Once a child crosses home-plate, the next child on the team does the same thing. The first team to make it all the way around the bases wins. Busy Catcher: Children are divided into two teams. Two opposing players put on catcher gear as fast as they can. Once they have the gear on, they run the bases and return to home plate where the next person in the relay is waiting. The first person takes off their equipment, and then the next person puts it on and runs the bases. This continues until all players have run the bases. The team that finishes first is the winner. Team Matching: Children match each Major League Baseball team nickname with the correct city. The team with the most correct matches wins. Long Toss, Long Hit: Children will take turns hitting a baseball/softball. The child who hits the ball the farthest wins. Homerun Derby: Children will take turns hitting a baseball/softball. Each “hit” that is not a homerun will be considered a strike. After 10 strikes, the number of homeruns is recorded for each child. The child with the most homeruns advances to the next round. This will continue until there is a winner. Batting Cage Use: Hitting games will consist of 2 teams facing each other head-to-head. Each individual will get 6 swings OR 3 outs to get as many runs as possible. A game will conclude after the 55 minute mark. If the game is in the middle of an inning when time is called, the score will be taken from the inning that was previously finished. All batters will get 5 warm-up pitches before their first scoring AB's and 2 warm-up pitches each round after. Scoring: Single - ball will be hit between the first and second rope (in the air) Double - ball will be hit between the second and third rope (in the air) AND/OR the top of the cage behind the second rope Triple - ball will be hit between the third rope and the end corner of the cage (in the air) Homerun - the ball will hit the back of the cage Outs - any ball that hits the ground before it makes contact with the net *****Other Pertinent Information: ********* Deposit: A deposit of 50% down (total cost of party) required at time of scheduling.
