Howard James of Holistic Health Suite and Café. Everyone is asked to bring an appetizer or dessert with a
Valentine’s theme. We’ll meet at the home of Chris Hoyler and Bob Jackson, 130 Glenview Ave, Wyncote.
The cost for the tea tasting is $5.00 and there is a free will collection for The Philadelphia Project. Dining With
Grace events are open to all adult members and friends of the congregation. Please contact Chris Hoyler at

This fellowship breakfast, open to all men, takes place every 2nd and 4th Saturday morning September through
June at 7:30 AM in Muyskens Hall. We will meet next this Saturday, January 31 for our rescheduled from last
week breakfast, a time of fellowship and a time of sharing joys and concerns. Chefs will be Rob Hudson and
Dick Berlinger.
ANNUAL CONGREGATION MEETING AND LUNCH
The session has called an annual meeting this Sunday, February 1st following the 10:30 worship service for the
purpose of reviewing the business of the Church. All members of Grace are encouraged to attend. Childcare
will be available during the meeting.
ADULT MISSION TRIP – MAKE THE COMMITMENT NOW
It’s time to decide! You are welcome to be a part of the Adult Mission Trip and make a difference in West
Virginia in May! YOU can make homes warmer, safer, drier for a family in need in Appalachia. The trip will take
place Monday, May 11 through Sunday, May 17 with a cost of $425. To sign up or find out more, please contact
John Van Buren, Wendy Browder, Julia Hudson or Jen Haley. The first volunteer payment of $125 is due to the
church office by the end of January.
EXPAND YOUR SUNDAY, EXPAND YOUR LIFE
SUCCEEDING AT LIFE led by Pastor Sandy Hull
The biblical book of Proverbs is filled with practical, blunt, earthy guidance for living. From finances to
friendship, from laziness to lust, from self-control to satisfaction—Proverbs deals with it all. This six-week
series will feature practical presentations and lively discussions, and it will make a difference, helping you to
succeed at life.
Coffee & refreshments will be available in the Palmer Room beginning at 9:15 a.m. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m.
VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS AVAILABLE
The Studio at Beacon offers a safe space for creativity and imagination for children and youth after school. All
programs are free, non-religious, open to all, and include all necessary supplies and a healthy snack.
For the third year, Women of Grace will be providing the opportunity to support the after school Art Studio at
Beacon in Kensington by offering Valentine’s Day cards for $5.00 each. Last year we were able to contribute
$890 to this terrific program. The cards are made from artwork done by the children who attend this program.
Look for them at church on Sunday or contact either Sandy DiGiulio ([email protected] or 267-252-2019) or
Donna Jones ([email protected] or 215-379-5457).
ASH WEDNESDAY SOUP SUPPER AND WORSHIP – FEBRUARY 18
Begin the season of Lent with Grace. There will be a soup supper including soup, bread, cheese and fruit
beginning at 6:30 PM in the Palmer Room at Grace Presbyterian Church. Supper will be available through 7:15
PM and will be followed by a worship service including communion in the Chapel beginning at 7:30 PM.
Childcare will be available for the service. RSVP through the church office.
MEN’S RETREAT – FEBRUARY 27-MARCH 1
Please join us for a weekend of fellowship, spiritual renewal, study, fun and relaxation at the Harvey Cedars
Bible Conference on Long Beach Island, NJ. Our theme this year is: "Quest for Perfection: Daily Grind or
Divine Inspiration?" Guest speaker, Colleen Lyons, MBe, CCEP, a bio/business ethicist, will engage us in how
to true up the spiritual and secular aspects of our daily lives. Read more HERE.
Please use the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board or contact the church office to register. Questions can be
directed to Jeff Cline: [email protected] or 267-808-5479.
