Serve Sunday - February 22
Our next Serve Sunday is coming up in just two weeks on February 22. Sign
up for a project on the courtyard today. There are a variety of projects to choose
from for all ages and activity levels. It will be fun! For more information about
the projects and to sign up online, visit our website.
Family Portraits - We still have several portraits that have not yet been picked
up. They are available at the table with the proof list.
Singles Ministry for ages 35+
Singles Bible Study - We will meet on Friday, February 20, at 7:00 pm
Today - see Jan Villot, a well known speaker. Her topic is Sharing Christ
by Building Bridges.
Friday, February 13 - Celebrate Valentine’s Day one day early with friends
from local churches.

Monday Moms
Join us on Monday mornings from 9:15 to 11:30 am in room 111 as we
study, Sacred Rhythms, Arranging Our Lives for Spiritual Transformation. Free
childcare is provided for children ages 3 months to 4 years old. Contact

NEW Hygiene Bags - Help the homeless and contribute to one of the Serve Sunday
projects by filling a hygiene bag. Pick up an empty bag at the Serve Sunday
table on the courtyard today and fill it by February 22 with the items on
the list inside.
Student Talent Show - Tonight
Come support our teens as they showcase their many talents to raise money
TODAY!
for our Mexico 2015 trip. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the show starts at
6:30 pm. Adults $10, Students $8, Children $4. Bring a friend and enjoy
this special evening.
Southeast Asia Trip Information Meeting - Today
TODAY!
Southeast Asia ESL Camp 2015 - It’s hard to believe for the past six years,
SFC high school and college students have led ESL camps for high school
students in Southeast Asia. If you are a high school senior (fall 2015), college
or post-college student and you are interested in learning more about this
summer’s trip, please plan to attend the information meeting today at 9:30

Go & Tell - February 15
Sunday, February 15, at 11:45 am in Douglass Hall Steve and Renee Grubb
will be speaking about their service with OC International in the UK reaching
the next generations for Christ and equipping them to lead. A light lunch
will be served.
Lenten Soup Supper - February 19
Lent offers a chance to reflect on the person and life of Jesus Christ. Come
join us Thursday, February 19, at 6:00 pm in Richards Hall for soup and

Men’s Ministry Breakfast - February 21
NEW The next Men’s Ministry breakfast is coming up on February 21 at 8:30 am
in Richards Hall. Jim Stump, Chaplin of the 49ers, Giants and Stanford
football teams will be speaking. Tickets are on sale on the courtyard today.
Mexico Fiesta - March 8
Celebrate with us on Sunday, March 8, after church as we raise money for

our Mexico 2015 trip. The day will include silent and live auctions, fiesta
entertainment and a Mexican food lunch. Lunch tickets will be on sale soon.

Kingdom Lessons:
Our new class, Spiritual Gifts begins today at 9:00 and 10:30 am in Douglass
Hall and will be taught by Jerry Bruce. Every believer is given spiritual gifts.
What are yours? Come discover your gifts and how to use them. Class meets
February 8, 15 and March 1.
Chili Cookoff Winners
NEW Thank you to all the Life Groups who participated in the Super Bowl of Life
Chili Cookoff. All the entries were delicious! The outstanding chili winners
were: First Place - Meadowbrook Chili by Stan Sells; Second Place - Family
Heritage Chili by Hester O’Gara; Third Place - Hollywood Chili by Frank
Dutro. The winners received gift certificates to take their groups to play bocce
ball in Los Gatos, to the movies and to Peets.

Village Preschool Open House
Village Preschool would like to invite everyone at SFC to walk through the

preschool today between services. They have opened their doors to the local
community for an open house earlier this week and would like to extend
the invitation to everyone at SFC. Information and applications are available
in the Children’s Ministry lobby. Classes are filling quickly. Feel free to call

Valentine Parents’ Night Out - February 13
The LifeHouse Youth Group is sponsoring a Parents’ Night Out on Friday,
February 13, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Check your children in at the nursery
counter and enjoy an evening to yourself! Children ages 3 mos. through
fifth grade are welcome. Reservations are required! Space is limited. Please
pack a dinner for each child and diaper changing supplies (if necessary). One
Child: $8.00/hour - Two Children: $10.00/hour - Three or More Children:
$12.00/hour. All proceeds benefit the Mexico 2015 trip. RSVP to [email protected] no later than today with child’s name, age, allergies and

Teaching Our Children & Teens Healthy Sexuality
Join Tim Galleher on two Wednesday nights, March 11 and 18, from
6:30 to 8:30 pm in room 302. Come learn about how and when to talk
to your kids about sex and sexuality, helping your kids set standards and
