MEN'S ACTIVITY GROUP • Saturday, Feb. 7 • 1-3pm Open to all men ages 14 & up, feel free to invite others! This month's activity will be broomball at the Big Lake hockey rinks on the north side of the Big Lake city hall parking lot. We will have equipment available and plan to play from 1-3pm. Adults' Dominican Republic Mission Trip Deposit Due • Feb 8 A mission trip to the Dominican Republic (DR) will take place from March 21–29. We will be able to develop an understanding of the Dominican culture, the people, their needs, and the various ministries that the Quarry may be able to partner with. The expected cost is $1,800 per person. There is a $1,000 non-refundable fee for airfare by NEXT Sunday, February 8, 2015. REFIT Class • Starting, Monday, Feb 9 REFIT is a cardio-dance fitness program designed to create community within the church. Noelle Ernst, a Quarry attendee, will be leading the class at the Quarry office on Mondays & Fridays* at 5:30pm. *(Off 2/20). Cost: $3/class or $25 for a 10 class punch card. Restoration Course • Sunday, February 15 The focus of Restoration is to bring a deeper understanding & experience of the Father’s love for us, His power to heal, and a greater awareness of the enemy’s tactics in our lives. Sunday evenings (6pm) for 12 weeks (with some additional Thursday evenings beginning at 7pm), beginning Sunday, Feb 15, at the home of Denny & Kathy Lundquist (Monticello). The Ukrainians are coming! • February 18-24 Many of you know that we have a long-standing relationship with a vibrant church in Ukraine. Instead of a team from the Quarry heading to the Ukraine this year, our friends from New Life Church are coming to visit us! Seven to ten of our friends will be in & around Monticello from February 18th-24th. We can’t wait for you to meet them! While they are here I am hoping that the Quarry can truly bless our brothers and sisters. To that end, we are looking for people to help with food, lodging and transportation while they are with us. Family Pot Luck • Friday, Feb 20 While some of our sister church is here, we will have a casual dinner and chance to hear from them and ask questions. Let's give them a taste of Minnesota! We hope you will join us, 6-8pm! Parenting Teens Seminar • Saturday, Feb 21 • 9am-12pm We know you love your kids incredibly and want to be the best parents possible. We want to help. Along with our upcoming series Modern Parenthood, we will be offering two unique parenting seminars. Teen Focus: "Parenting in a Distracting World" will be held on February 21st featuring noted youth specialist “Tiger” McLuen. (More info to come for a parenting younger kids seminar.)
