JUNIOR MONARCH CLUB

Includes:
 Free tennis clinics taught
The Junior Monarch Tennis Club is a program aimed at growing the sport of tennis
in the Hampton Roads area, while also allowing for meaningful interaction
between local kids and ODU Men’s Tennis student-athletes.
The club is open to all kids 8th grade and younger and is completely free! Kids are
welcome to come to as many or as few events and activities as they’d like.

such as academics,
nutrition, physical
fitness, etc.
Clinics are open to all ability levels, from beginner to
advanced, and will focus on instruction and fun.

Saturday, January 31, 2015—2pm-4pm
Sunday, March 22, 2015—1pm-3pm
 The opportunity to be on
court during ODU Men’s
Tennis matches as a
“Monarch Retriever”
 Free pizza and snacks at
select clinics and home
matches
 The chance to win prizes
such as t-shirts, hats etc.
MONARCH RETRIEVERS
Junior Monarch Club members will have the
opportunity to be on court during ODU’s home contests
in the spring, serving as ball kids for the matches.
Training sessions will take place in January and
February.
MENTORING
PRIZES & FREE PIZZA
Each participant will be matched
with an ODU men’s tennis player
who will serve as their mentor
for the year. Mentoring topics
may include tennis, academics,
nutrition, physical fitness, and
more.
By coming out to cheer on
ODU Men’s Tennis, Junior
Monarchs will be eligible to
win t-shirts, hats, balls, and
other prizes. Free pizza will
be available at select clinics
and home matches.
