Internal auditors have an essential need for independence – it is a requirement for the profession. Alongside this independence, there
is a growing and sometimes competing priority for Internal Audit to partner with management. This strategic direction has forced a
discussion with audit, risk and compliance teams around the world to evaluate how Internal Audit can MIND THE GAP and work
together toward common goals, leverage resources and better inuence and impact business performance.

The internal audit strategy is fundamental to remaining relevant and playing an important role in the organisations overall governance
risk management and internal controls. The conference promises exposure to host new ideas on how internal audit can bridge the gap
between business needs competently and succeed in raising the bar of the internal audit profession.
The Theme “Mind the gap” would be truly a global event for chief audit executives, chief nancial ofcers, chief technology ofcers
and members of this fraternity to gather, network and exchange information on the various new rened practices of internal audit
adopted globally. In addition there would be brain storming deliberation on the challenges that the internal audit profession would
have to overcome by bridging the gap. We expect a 200 + key people from the India region to our city for this mega event.
The 2015 Annual conference provides an excellent opportunity to not only the delegates in thought leadership discussions but also to

Cancellation Procedure
Cancellation must be in writing/email to IIA India and the respective cancellation fee will be applicable. If a
delegate is unable to attend, for whatever reason, without giving notice or cancels after February 15, 2015,
there will be no refund and in case the fees have not been paid will remain payable in full. However, based
on the discretion of the conference committee, a credit after deduction of cancellationfees, as determined
may be allowed. This credit can be used for any events of IIA India - Bombay Chapter held before
December 31, 2015
