How WPTAPL NC League Works
Definitions:
•
Venue- Is the establishment you play Poker at.
VSC- Venue Series Championship. Establishment championship held first week of the
next season. This is held after every season.
•
LPC- Live play Credit. Place 1st in a game- 3 LPC, 2nd -2 LPC and 3rd- 1 LPC.
•
Sit-N-Go- When 6-8 people are out of the game you may start a side game.
•
PCT- Points Champion Tournament
•
WPTAC- World Poker Tour Amateur Championship
How to Qualify for the Venue Championship:
•
Obtain 5 Lpc's during a regular season, Sit-N-Go games do not qualify for this.
•
Be one of the top 20 point leaders from the Venue ( Players who already have 5 Lpc's
are not counted in this number).
•
No game amount requirement is necessary like other leagues.
Sit-N-Go Games
Sit-N-Go games will be held nightly when 6-8 players are out of the game. Sit-N-Go does not
have to be Texas Holdem, it may be any of the numerous
Different games posted on the website from Casino to 5 Card Draw. The winner of every SitN-Go game will be awarded 1 Lpc, which they can use for the online games
How to get to Vegas from Your Establishment
1. Top two to four players (depending on how many nights played) from the VSC will
Qualify for the WPTAC in Las Vegas.
2. Overall Season point leader per Venue will qualify for the WPTAC in Vegas as long as
the establishment has been part of the league for 6 months.
3. Top Point earner in the region will qualify for WPTAC in Las Vegas as long as the
region has been active for 6 months.
4. Top three point leaders from all venues (Venue must have 6 months in league) will
advance to the PCT held on line for the qualifying period in which the VCS was held.
•
PCT#1-Held in July: VSC events held from January 1st- June 30th will qualify
the top 3 point earners from the series. Top 100 will advance to the WPTAC
in Vegas
•
PCT#2-Held in January: VSC events held from July 1st- December 30th will
qualify the top 3 point earners from the series. Top 100 will advance to the
WPTAC in Vegas
•
Winner of this event will win a poker Cruise
5. Regional Championship will be held after every two seasons have been completed.
Regionals will consist of top 10 point leaders from every Venue. Top 5 percent of all
invitees (not amount that shows) will qualify for the WPTAC in Las Vegas. Sit N Go
events will be held as well and the winner from each Sit-N-Go will qualify for the
WPTAC in Vegas.
How to get to Vegas via online Tournaments
1. Weekly Free rolls held on Friday and Saturdays. Top two from the free roll will
qualify for the WPTAC in Vegas. This is also a Cash event where the top 10 will
receive a payout. If you are a Platinum member and have the required LPC’s, you will
qualify for tier 2 prizes.
How to qualify:
•
Receive 2 LPC’s from any venue to include Sit-N-Go’s earned in 14 days (This
will qualify you to play for 6 Free Rolls)
•
Be a Platinum member
2. Quarterly Online Tournament. Top 10 will qualify for the WPTAC in Vegas. This
event is also a Cash event where the top 16 will receive a payout. Platinum members
with the required amount of LPC’s as well will move to tier 2 prizes.
How to Qualify:
•
Receive 8 LPC’s from any Venue to include Sit-N-Go’s earned in 90 days
•
Be a Platinum member
WINNER OF THIS EVENT WILL RECEIVE AIRFARE TO A LIVE WPT EVENT WHERE YOU
GET TO MEET THE FINAL TABLE AND RECEIVE AUTOGRAPHS, MEET THE CREW, SIT NEXT TO
THE FINAL TABLE AND MEET THE ROYAL FLUSH GIRLS.

These “winner-take-all” events award such prizes as:
• Vegas Vacation that includes 3 days / 2 nights at Tropicana Las Vegas with
airfare* and 2 passes to the
Las Vegas Mob Experience, the most the most interactive and innovative experiences on the
Las Vegas
Strip. Prize may be used in conjunction with WPTAC. Qualify for Tier 2 prizing and receive
$350
towards your airfare. Platinum members automatically qualify for this event BUT, still need
Live Play
Credits to qualify for Tier 2 prizing.

qualify for

day-60 day or 90 day.
