Transit Instructions from Clemson University to Anderson Wal-Mart Clemson University Faculty, Staff, and Students may obtain a transit ridership pass from the Parking and Transportation Services Office so that you may ride fare-free on the Electric City Route between Anderson and Pendleton. Parking and Transportation Services is located in the University Union, between the Post Office and Starbucks, just below Harcombe Dining Hall. The office is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Leave Clemson University to Anderson Wal-Mart: 1. Board the Clemson Area Transit Pendleton Route bus at either East Library Circle (located next to the Academic Success Center) or at the Hendrix Student Center at the stop closest to the parking lot. Ride the Pendleton Route to the Pendleton Bi-Lo Shopping Center. The bus departs from East Library Circle at :55 after the hour each hour Monday – Friday from 6:55 AM – 6:45 PM. First bus departs at 6:55 AM. Last bus departs at 5:55 PM. 2. Transfer to the Electric City Transit Orange Route at Bi-Lo Shopping Center near the Bank of America ATM. When you board, give your transit pass to the driver so that he may punch your card so you do not have to pay a fare. If you do not have a transit pass, you must pay the $0.50 fare. This occurs at :31 after the hour. Ride to the Anderson Wal-Mart. Arrive at Anderson Wal-Mart at :51 after the hour (last arrival at 6:51 PM). *If you are continuing into Anderson using the Electric City Red Route bus, you may transfer at the Anderson Wal-Mart. The bus departs at :51 after the hour. You will be required to pay the transfer fare of $0.50. Return to Clemson University: 1. Board the Electric City Transit Orange Route at the Anderson Wal-Mart. Give the driver your transit pass or pay the $0.50 fare. The bus leaves at :51 after the hour (first bus departs at 6:51 AM; last bus departs at 5:51 PM). Ride to Pendleton Bi-Lo Shopping Center. 2. Transfer to the Clemson Area Transit Pendleton Route. The bus leaves at :31 after the hour (first bus departs at 7:31 AM; last bus departs at 6:31 PM). Arrive at Clemson University East Library Circle at :45 after the hour (last arrival is 6:45 PM).
