Ysgol Cradoc
Cradoc School
Week beginning: 7th April 2014
Dear Parents/Friends,
School Dinners
A huge thank you to Geraint Price, Bethan Irwin, Gill
Griffiths & Owen, Mr & Mrs Wood, Sarah Murphy, Ceri
Wood, Mr & Mrs Watton who have supported our
Ground Force week and also to everyone who has
volunteered for jobs over the next few days. I have
received a number of comments on how the school looks
better already. Thanks also for the excellent number of
eggs/gifts that have been donated for the Easter bingo
tonight.
I have two more requests for volunteers however:
1. We are looking for volunteers to walk with us to
Aberyscir Church and back on Wednesday afternoon
please.
2. Is there anyone out there with skills in Zumba who
would be willing to share them with the Y5/6 children
in the summer term please?
If you are able to help with either of these please speak
to Sheila.
Thank you to Austin Price and Della Powell for helping
Class 3 with their DT project today.

The summer term will very soon be upon us. Please can I
ask all parents to check the children's PE kit over the
Easter holidays as several children have mentioned their
PE shoes/shorts etc being too small in the last few weeks.
Also, it is vital that all children have PE kit in school every
day as we will try to make the most of the better weather
and consequently PE sessions are likely to move around
the week.

We saw some excellent football skills on show when
we visited Priory School on Wednesday. Our
teams played extremely well in all three matches,
with results of 0:5, 1:0 and 0:2. Special mention
must go to two players, Lewie Crockett for scoring a
hat-trick and to keeper James Morgan who scored
a goal with a cracking kick from his own goal line!
Our special thanks to parents Mr Williams, Mr
Evans and Mrs Worwood who came with us.
Thanks to Mr Tustin and Mr Williams for coaching
football this term in all weathers!!
