REGULAR SESSION AUGUST 13, 2014
This day the Board of Morrow County Commissioners met in their office at 80 North Walnut St., Ste. A, Mt.
Gilead, Ohio with the following members present: Mr. Harden, Mr. Whiston and Mr. Miller.
Public in attendance: Randa Wagner, Morrow County Sentinel, Darin Seiber, Bob Sutherland, Warren Davis
and Nelson Hack.
The meeting was opened with prayer and pledge of allegiance to the flag, and then called to order by Mr. Miller,
who then proceeded with the business at hand. The following matters came before the Board for their
consideration and approval.
IN THE MATTER OF
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
OF REGULAR SESSION OF AUGUST 11, 2014: 14-R-406
Mr. Harden made a motion to approve the minutes of regular session of August 11, 2014, as recorded in
the Commissioners Journal # 44.

APPROVAL OF BILLS FOR PAYMENT: 14-R-407
Mr. Miller made a motion to approve payment of bills numbered 1 through 121 as submitted by the
Morrow County Auditors office.

TRANSFER OF FUNDS - GENERAL FUND TRANSFER IN/OUT: 14-T-58
The Board of Morrow County Commissioners approved supplemental appropriations on August 11,
2014 in the amount of $38,208.07 to cover payment of foster care expenses for 4th quarter 2013; and
WHEREAS, the funds need to be transferred to an In/Out Transfer Account to move the funds to Job &
Family Services fund 41;
THEREFORE, Mr. Whiston made a motion to approve the following transfer of funds:
From 001-029-54321 Social Service Transfer In/Out Account to 041-081-54321 Children Service Transfer
In/Out Account in the amount of $38,208.07.

At the request of Steve Brenneman, Morrow County Sheriff, a motion was made by Mr. Whiston to
approve the following transfer of funds:
From 001-219-21013 Cell Phones to 001-219-29099 Other Expenses in the amount of $2,000.00
From 001-219-29009 Storage to 001-219-29099 Other Expenses in the amount of $1,000.00
From 001-219-21010 Electric to 001-219-29099 Other Expenses in the amount of $1,000.00
From 001-219-21001 Supplies to 001-219-29099 Other Expenses in the amount of $595.00

Mr. Whiston made a motion to go into Executive Session at 9:30 a.m. to discuss pending litigation
regarding a BWC claim.

RETURN TO REGULAR SESSION: 14-R-410
Mr. Harden made a motion to return to regular session at10:36 a.m., after discussion regarding pending
litigation, no action taken, present were: Joseph Edwards, Tim Maceyko, Ashley Davis, Don Wake, Charles
Howland, Tom Harden, Tom Whiston, Dick Miller and Shane Dawson.
