By receiving this letter, it indicates that you are eligible and had already registered your interest to attend the graduation ceremony. During this occasion, you will be formally recognised and presented for your academic achievements. Date: Monday, 10th November 2014 Time: 2 pm – 5 pm Venue: Yak & Yeti Hotel, Nepal (Regal Ballroom) Gowns and Hats Distribution & Briefing Session You are required to attend the briefing session for Graduation Ceremony on the following schedule: Computing Graduates : 2nd November 2014 (11am at Westminster Palace) Networking & Multimedia Graduates : 3rd November 2014 (11 am at Westminster Palace) BBA Graduates : 4th November 2014 (11 am at Westminster Palace) You will also need to collect your graduation gown from the College on the following schedule: Computing Graduates : 2nd November 2014 Networking Graduates : 3rd November 2014 BBA & Multimedia Graduates : 4th November 2014 You are required to make a deposit of NRs. 6,000 for the rental of the gowns and hats. Once your ceremony has finished and your photographs have been taken, you should return the gown and hat to the College and you will receive NRs. 2,000 in return. The graduation gown must be returned to the college in good condition by 13th of November 2014, 9am to 5pm. Proud Partners of: Graduation Attire Male graduates – White buttoned shirts with tie; black long pants; and covered black shoes. Female graduates – White buttoned shirts; black coloured skirts or Nepali Traditional Attire (Black Sari); and black closed shoes. All graduates are required to respect the ceremony and take it seriously. Any graduate, who is found to come in improper attire, will not be allowed to enter the ballroom. Guests You may invite up to a maximum of 2 relatives or friends to attend as guests. 2 guest tickets will be issued to you when you collect your graduation gown from the College. You must register the names of guests while collecting the guest tickets. Do note that graduates and guests are seated in different parts of the Ballroom and all guests are required to produce their tickets upon request by any College staffs. The College reserves all rights to reject anyone to the ceremony without a guest ticket. You are also advised that ceremony like this is unsuitable for young children and you should not give your tickets to them. On the day of the ceremony It is highly recommended that you and your guests are to arrive at the venue about 2 hours before the start of the ceremony i.e. at 12:00 pm. You are required to register at the registration counter before proceeding to put on your graduation attire. In the meantime, you can also socialize and take some photos with your guests, fellow graduates and the college staffs. You and your guests should be in the correct seats 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. All graduates will be seated towards the front of the ballroom and the guests will be seated at the back. During the ceremony, all mobile phones MUST be turned off or switched to silent mode. You will not be allowed to take photos from where you are seated. Your guests can take photos during the ceremony but we request them to remain in their seats when the ceremony commences. The College will be engaging professional photographers to take the photos for the ceremony and it will be uploaded to the College Facebook Page and website for download. Arriving Late The College advises you to arrive at the ceremony venue 2 hours prior to the start of the ceremony. If you do arrive late, the College staffs will make every effort to accommodate you. However we stress that graduates will NOT be allowed to enter the ballroom once the ceremony has commenced. We are expecting many calls and emails during this period leading up to the ceremony.
