To be able to stream live TV (HD TV or soon VHD TV) on cellular network, several
2/3/4G modem are required: this allows to use at the same time several
communication channel.
In addition, to be portable, these communication tools must be small and capable
of functioning whatever of the country. This device could be attached on a camera
or put in a backpack…
Therefore from an antenna point, we had to provide a product including as many
antenna in a small volume as there are modem: 4 to 8 2/3/4G antenna & from 1 to
4 Wifi antenna.
Finally, the integration of these
antennas should be compatible with a
professional use in harsh environment
(shock …) and the cost of these
antennas should be as low as possible.

A new solution to solve coupling issue - 4G / Wifi
• When 3G or 4G are at Pmax, Wifi communication drop, or when Wifi is at
Pmax, 3G or 4G sensivity drop
Narrow band antenna solution
could be of interest
-12dB isolation are not enough in that case,
a new target have been set to -20dB in 3G
and better than -12dB at 2.5GHz – 4G
Today, based on the simulation study, we achieve -20dB between 3G & Wifi
and -15dB at 2.5GHz for 4G. With this, all problems disappeared
