TAN list and Transcript of Records • Based on details given/sent to Valerie Säger: generation of a TAN list = password to FlexNow database • Check whether you have been properly registered for your exams • Generate your Transcript of Records (at the end of your stay) = German, English, with or without failed exams, online verification code • Please sign the attendance list and give us your matriculation number – alternatively, send us details via mail immediately • TAN lists along with instructions will be handed out/sent to you later • If you do not pick up your TAN list you will thus not be able to generate your transcript – as no transcripts will be sent to your home international offices from the IRC side! Jochen Wicher, M.Sc. „NRW Semesterticket“ • Valid on all regional carriers throughout North Rhine-Westphalia/NRW; neighboring communities in Lower Saxony, Rhineland-Palatinate and the Netherlands • Busses, subway and tram can be used all over NRW and in the city center of Osnabrück. • The train ticket is valid only for regional trains such as the RegionalExpress RE and the RegionalBahn RB. It is not valid for intercity trains (InterRegio IR, InterCity IC and InterCityExpress ICE) or in first-class compartments • Trips beyond the geographical limits of the Semesterticket: you must buy a ticket for the rest of the trip before boarding the train Jochen Wicher, M.Sc. How to use the WiFi • To set up your WiFi, you have to follow the instructions on the ZIV website: http://www.uni-muenster.de/ZIV/en/Anleitungen/WLAN_einrichten.html • Requirements: You have a WiFi compatible terminal device at your disposal (laptop, smartphone, tablet) which supports the WPA standard You have your ZIV ID and a password for network access (either stated in your registration letter or to be obtained from ZIV, Einsteinstr. 60) • The password for network access needs to be set in the users’ portal MeinZIV. • Instructions are available for various operating system/platforms • ZIV staff members are also available at the DigiLab at the University Library (ULB) Jochen Wicher, M.Sc.
