An international chemical company is searching for an IT network and hardware professional to join their team in the role
of IT Support. In this role, you will configure and troubleshoot a variety of infrastructure and maintain LAN/WAN networks,
desktops, and servers.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with external vendors for laptop/desktop hardware/server/VPN/WAN issues
Maintain customer incident tracking system with new incidents, updates and resolutions
Configure and troubleshoot LAN and WAN with TCP/IP properties
Respond to user requests for helpdesk needs (problems, requests)
Take part in local project roll outs such as software installations, OS upgrades and hardware upgrades
Requirements:
4+ years' overall work experience
Experience in IT desktop support/infrastructure/LAN/WAN network, server and storage
Working knowledge of cabling, routers, switches, WAN protocols and equipment, TCP/IP
Experience managing Lotus Notes/providing desktop support
