The international team at the Swiss National Bank’s Economic Analysis unit is seeking a motivated and committed Economist / Senior Economist in the Economic Analysis (International) unit Your responsibilities: - Analysing either the US or the European economy - Preparing quantitative, model-based economic forecasts and taking part in the regular reporting activity - Writing reports and research papers on important business cycle topics - You will have the opportunity of presenting your research papers at conferences and publishing them in academic journals - Representing the SNB in international groups of experts Your profile: - Doctorate in economics with a focus on macroeconomics and some years of professional experience in this area - Broad-based knowledge of macroeconomics and experience in structural and empirical models - Fully proficient in one of Switzerland’s national languages (verbal and writing skills) and excellent editorial and oral skills in English - Performance-oriented team-player, sense of responsibility and loyalty You will work in a highly-qualified team and within an organisation that will support and encourage you in your personal development.
