“QCD corrections to vector boson pair production in gluon fusion at the LHC”
In this talk I will describe the computation of the NLO QCD corrections to the production
of vector boson pairs in gluon fusion at the LHC. In the first part I will focus on the
calculation of the two-loop virtual amplitudes, which requires the use of all cutting edge
techniques recently developed for the calculation of multi-loop Feynman integrals, i.e.
differential equations, canonical bases and symbol and co-product formalism. In the
second part, I will then move to the first phenomenological applications of the calculation,
presenting results for NLO QCD corrections to gg → ZZ and gg → WW at the LHC.
