Travel
=====
Arrival by plane:
-----------------Most of the participants will fly into Vienna, some to Graz or Klagenfurt, and then continue
by train.
From the airport Vienna-Schwechat (VIE) http://www.viennaairport.com/ you should go on
to the train station 'Wien Meidling', where the trains to Unzmarkt leave from. The easiest
and cheapest way is taking the shuttle bus of the Vienna Airport Lines
http://www.postbus.at/en/Airportbus/Vienna_AirportLines/Westbahnhof/index.jsp; it
circulates every 30 minutes. The bus leaves just in front of the arrival hall. Tickets can be
bought directly on the bus. For fares refer to:
http://www.postbus.at/en/Airportbus/Vienna_AirportLines/Fare/index.jsp. For the timetable
you may either consult http://www.postbus.at/en/Timetable/index.jsp or the server of the
Austrian railways http://www.oebb.at/en/ For getting the connections from the Vienna
Airport to Unzmarkt please enter on the webpage
From: Flughafen Wien
To: Unzmarkt
For those arriving at the Graz (GRZ) or Klagenfurt (KLU) airports similar travel hints can be
found on the servers http://www.flughafen-graz.at/ and http://www.klagenfurt-airport.com/ ,
respectively.
It is advisable to purchase railway tickets online in advance through: http://www.oebb.at/en/
Arrival by train:
----------------You should travel to Unzmarkt, which is a main station on the international train line ViennaVenice.
Shuttle from Unzmarkt to Oberwoelz:
-----------------------------------------We have foreseen shuttles from Unzmarkt to Oberwoelz and back on
Sunday, September 7th, 2014 (arrival day) and
Saturday, September 13th, 2014 (departure day).
Participants who have not yet notified us of their need for a shuttle should do so as
soon as possible by sending an e-mail to [email protected]. We have to know the
size of the car or bus upon either train arrival.
The train schedule of the Austrian railways (with international train connections) is available

Miscellaneous
===========
Mountains around Oberwoelz (Woelzer Tauern) rise up to about 2500 metres above sea
level. Appropriate hiking equipment is thus advised!
For our excursion on Wednesday we plan a trip by bus to a hut on the near-by mountains.
From there easy (and also demanding) hikes in an enchanting environment are possible. The
evening will close with a rustic dinner and local music in the hut.
