Budokon Yoga Flow
Learn how Budokon combines warrior and yogic principals taught in the tradition of Budokon by it’s
creator Cameron Shayne. During this workshop he and his partner Melayne will guide you through
elements of the Budokon Yoga Primary and 2nd Series, combining strong and circular sequence of
postures, martial arts transitions, arm balances, backbends, zen meditation and restorative poses to
increase muscular strength, flexibility, concentration, and the cultivation of pure witness state.

Designed by Cameron Shayne for olympic athletes and MMA fighters, this class combines the innovative yogic, martial, and animal locomotive transitions that have made Budokon one of the most
renown and influential movement systems in the world. Our signature Yoga postures develop joint
mobility, while the martial arts transitions cultivate muscular integrity. Both are complimented by the
tensegrity and agility of animal locomotion. This class is designed for anyone pursing an intermediate
to advanced level of athletic aptitude.

Yin Samurai & Lecture
This 2hour workshop is perfect for people who are inspired to deepen their understanding of alignment, anatomy, and muscular engagement and relaxation in the application of Yin postures. Cameron Shayne and his partner Melayne will guide you through a class of restorative, healing asanas
practiced with an attitude of mindfulness and compassionate acceptance of the physical and emotional body. The soulful, meditative and deeply relaxing class is the perfect way to end your day.

Explore 20 different inversions and transitions with one of the pioneers of contemporary yoga. Cameron
Shayne is renown for innovating many of the technicians and transitions popular in the field of modern
yogic inversion. He will share with you the mechanics and psychology needed to take your individual
inversion practice to the next level.

Shayne for a thought provoking conversations around the ethics of social, and personal honesty.

5 Keys to your Back Bend
Our spines are incredible combinations of strength and flexibility. Budokon explores band bends as
both dynamic martial arts transitions and static yogic expressions. In this workshop we will explore
the five categories of action involved in developing a versatile back bend. Traction - Where the body
is bending in a way which developed space and comfort in the joints. Leverage - Where the strength
of the arms or legs are used to deepen the backbend, and Contraction - Where the muscles on the
back contract to overcome gravity allowing the front body to lengthen. Transition - Where the body
must support itself structurally, while moving from belly up to belly down positions. Flexion - Where a
bending movement around a joint can be the difference between comfort, compression or injury.
