Welcome to SIS Swiss International School Basel!
SIS is a private day school for children from kindergarten through
college. Designed to fulfil the educational goals of Swiss as well as
internationally mobile families, the SIS programme is centred on
consistent bilingual classroom instruction and peer experience in
German and English.
SIS is an International Baccalaureate World School, offering the
IB Diploma Programme. In the SIS Bilingual College, students get
solid guidance and support in their studies to obtain the bilingual
Swiss Matura.
SIS is also authorised by Cambridge International Examinations
(CIE) to deliver the International General Certificate of Secondary
Education (IGCSE).

In addition to the spacious classrooms, our school house offers
an art studio, a well-stocked library, a science laboratory and a
computer lab, as well as a large sports hall and an inner courtyard
outdoors recreation area. Our day school structure means that our
large cafeteria and snack kiosk are a key part of school life.
