Zu den Schlüsselthemen der digitalen Transformation gehören vornehmlich die umfassende
Vernetzung und das Internet der Dinge. Gut 20 Milliarden Devices sollen in den nächsten
fünf Jahren mit dem Internet verbunden werdenDie CeBIT 2016 fasst dieses Thema daher in
einem neuen Ausstellungsbereich „IoT SOLUTIONS“ in der Halle 13 zusammen. Der Fokus

und Services. „IoT SOLUTIONS“ ist in direkter Nachbarschaft zum CeBIT-Schwerpunkt
Communication & Networks positioniert, wo sich Enabler-Technologien sowie Telematics
und M2M präsentieren. Die Themenschwerpunkte des neuen Bereichs umfassen Automotive
& Logistics, Smart Home & Building, Smart Health, Manufacturing, Aviation und Agriculture.
Das Fachforum „Communications & IoT SOLUTIONS“ bildet den Rahmen für Austausch und
Wissenstransfer und bietet eine Bühne für Sprecher mit umfangreichem Produktwissen.

Comprehensive connectivity and the Internet of Things are key topics in the digital
transformation. A good 20 billion devices are expected to be connected with the internet over
the next five years. As a result, CeBIT 2016 will be devoting a new display category to the
topic – “IoT SOLUTIONS”, in Hall 13. The main focus will be on the connectivity and
digitization of value-added chains as well as of products, processes and services. “IoT
SOLUTIONS” is positioned directly in the vicinity of the CeBIT display category for
Communication & Networks, featuring enabler technologies, telematics and M2M. The main
topics in the new category include Automotive & Logistics, Smart Home & Building, Smart
Health, Manufacturing and Aviation und Agriculture. The “Communications & IoT
SOLUTIONS” forum provides a platform for the exchange of thoughts and ideas and
