Dieses Projekt wurde in den 90er Jahren
in New York gegründet und hat sich zum
Ziel gesetzt, die Kontakte zwischen den
Menschen einer Region und den Besuchern zu fördern. Unser Netzwerk setzt
sich zusammen aus Menschen, die ihre
Heimat lieben und wertschätzen und die
Werte der Greeters vertreten.
Born in New York in the 90’s, the concept
is to create an exchange between the
local population and tourists in an innovative form of participatory tourism. Our

Dominées par d’imposantes falaises de grès rose,
les Maisons des Rochers restaurées restituent le
cadre de vie de la dernière occupante, Catherine
qui mourut en 1958.
In den restaurierten Felsenhäusern
(„Maisons des Rochers“), vor der Kulisse
imposanter Buntsandsteinfelsen, wird das
Lebensumfeld ihrer letzten Bewohnerin,
Catherine, die im Jahr 1958 verstarb,
rekonstruiert.

Construite en 1534, cette ancienne tour de
guêt abriterait à l’endroit de sa cave des
traces de construction attestant une présence
gallo-romaine.
Dieser ehemalige Wachturm wurde in
1534 errichtet. Spuren im Bereich des
heutigen Kellers könnten von einer
gallo-römischen Vergangenheit des
Orts zeugen.

Synagogue
Restaurée en 2002, la synagogue date de 1836. Elle
a été agrandie par le chevet polygonal néogothique
en 1903. Il s’agit d’un édifice classique à l’extérieur
et à tendance néo-romane au niveau culturel.

die polygonale neogotische Apsis
erweitert. Von außen lässt der Bau
sich dem klassizistischen Baustil

Maison suisse
et moulin à huile
La maison suisse construite au XVII e siècle est le
témoin de l’immigration suisse en Alsace. Le moulin
à huile (inscrit à l’Inventaire supplémentaire des
Monuments historiques) permettait d’écraser les
graines grâce à d’énormes meules en grès et à un
ingénieux mécanisme en bois.

Ölmühle, die unter Denkmalschutz
steht, wurden die Körner mit riesigen

The oil mill (listed in the Additional Register
of Historic Monuments) was used to crush
seeds with huge sandstone grinding stones
and an ingenious wooden mechanism.
