「フライング・ハイ・アゲイン！」（１）／ Flying High Again series (1)

逆風はより高く飛ぶためにある。
An adverse wind is to help you ﬂy high again.
第一ペテロ１：１∼９
1 イエス・キリストの使徒ペテロから、ポント、ガラテヤ、カパドキヤ、アジヤ、ビテニヤに散っ
て寄留している、選ばれた人々、すなわち、2 父なる神の予知に従い、御霊の聖めによって、イエ
ス・キリストに従うように、またその血の注ぎかけを受けるように選ばれた人々へ。どうか、恵み
と平安が、あなたがたの上にますます豊かにされますように。
3 私たちの主イエス・キリストの父なる神がほめたたえられますように。神は、ご自分の大きなあ
われみのゆえに、イエス・キリストが死者の中からよみがえられたことによって、私たちを新しく
生まれさせて、生ける望みを持つようにしてくださいました。4 また、朽ちることも汚れること
も、消えて行くこともない資産を受け継ぐようにしてくださいました。これはあなたがたのため
に、天にたくわえられているのです。5 あなたがたは、信仰により、神の御力によって守られてお
り、終わりのときに現されるように用意されている救いをいただくのです。
6 そういうわけで、あなたがたは大いに喜んでいます。いまは、しばらくの間、さまざまの試練の
中で、悲しまなければならないのですが、7 あなたがたの信仰の試練は、火で精錬されつつなお朽
ちて行く金よりも尊く、イエス・キリストの現れのときに称賛と光栄と栄誉になることがわかりま
す。
8 あなたがたはイエス・キリストを見たことはないけれども愛しており、いま見てはいないけれど
も信じており、ことばに尽くすことのできない、栄えに満ちた喜びにおどっています。9 これは、
信仰の結果である、たましいの救いを得ているからです。
1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, To God’s elect, exiles scattered throughout the provinces of
Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia and Bithynia, 2 who have been chosen according to the
foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to
Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new
birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an
inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who
through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be
revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suﬀer grief in all
kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth
than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when
Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you
believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end
result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

1) あなたは最近どのような困難を通り抜けなければならない経験をしましたか？その困難はあな
たの神に対する信仰を砕きましたか、それとも建て上げ、強くしましたか？そこから何を学びまし
たか？
What kind of hardship have you gone through recently? Did it crash your faith in God?
Or did it help your faith in Jesus grow stronger? What did you learn from the
experience?

2) 悲しみや痛みの中を通っている友をどのように励ます事ができますか？
How can you encourage those of your friends who are going through tough time?

3) 痛みを無駄にすることなく、むしろさらに飛躍するための道具として用いることができるよう
に互いに祈り合いましょう。
Pray that none of you waste your suﬀering but use it to ﬂy high again in your life.
