ON WHAT DAY AND WITH WHOM? You can make your sentences more complicated with more information such as: • • who you go with and on what day you go. 1. Do you remember the days of the week? げつようび かようび すいようび もくようび きんようび 月 曜 日 Monday, 火曜日 Tuesday, 水 曜 日 Wednesday, 木 曜 日 Thursday, 金 曜 日 Friday, どようび にちようび 土曜日 Saturday, 日 曜 日 Sunday. You can use these words to tell people when you go. 2. Do you know any Japanese people’s names? Girl’s names (put さん after friend’s names to be polite.) けいこ、はなこ、ゆうこ、みわ、さゆり、なおこ。 Boy’s names (put くん after your friend’s names to be polite) けんじ、たかし、けんたろう、ゆうすけ、よし。 You can use these words to tell people with whom you go. 3. This is the way to do it. Day of the Week に Who と Transportation で Place に いきます/いきません。 に、で、と are called particles and you need different particles for different purposes.
