アートや写真からのインスピレーションをもとに構築された、
上質でコンテンポラリーな、ファッションブランドです。
セントラルセントマーティン美術学校テキスタイル学科卒業。
ニットデザイナーとして、ロンドンコレクションで作品を発表後、
2 0 1 0 年拠点をニューヨークに移す。ディレクター、シェリーフォックスのもと、
パーソンズ美術学校の大学院、ファッション学科の第一期生として卒業。
卒業コレクションをロロピアーナ社のスポンサーで、
2 0 12 年ニューヨークファッションウィークで発表する。
在学中からダイアンヴォンフォーステンバーグで経験を積み、
ラルフローレンブラックレーベルのデザイナーとして経験を重ねる。
2 0 13 年日本に帰国後ニットブランド K ä ä p i ö を立ち上げ、
2 0 14 年秋冬コレクション「D I Y S p i r i t s 」を発表。

DIY Spi ri ts
“DIY Spirits” collection was inspired by the series of
photographs and artworks by Gordon Matta Clarke,
who cut the abandoned buildings in New York into
two parts, cut out the staircases, cut out shapes out
of walls and elevated the abandoned buildings to the
level of art pieces. “DIY spirits” collection featured
this unique perspective and applied space in classic
wardrobes, presenting a different perspective of
enjoying wardrobes and layering clothes.
“DIY spirits”コレクションは、ゴードンマッタクラークによる写真やアート
ワークにインスパイアされてデザインされました。ゴードンマッタクラーク
は、1970年代にニューヨークの廃墟となった建物を、彫刻のように2つに
切り分けたり、階段だけを切り取ったり、様々な形をレイヤーで切り取るこ
とによって、廃墟をアートピースにした芸術家です。

ションは、このユニークなコンセプトを取り上げ、クラシックなシルエット
に空間を入れることで、新しいニットウェアを提案しています。
