和太鼓りんどう Wadaiko Rindo
和太鼓りんどう (Wadaiko Rindo) は、‘９６年メルボルン、
オーストラリアでスタートした坂本敏範氏(2013 年 7 月、
外務大臣表彰受賞)の主催する「りんどう和太鼓教室」の
中から選ばれたメンバーによって構成された太鼓チームです。

《Language》
■書道の基本を学び、墨の香りを楽しみながら、字を書いて
作品を仕上げます。墨すり体験からスタート。硯に水を入れて
墨をすり、墨の香りを楽しみながら、書道の世界に入っていき
ましょう。
筆遣いを学んだあとは運筆の練習をします。最後に、気を引
き締めて作品をひとつ仕上げます。心静かに墨をすり、筆を持
ち集中して紙に向かう。そんな「書の道」に親しんでみましょう。

[G5 Classroom]
■｢技｣では、マーブリング液で模様をつけた和紙を使い、封筒
や箸置きを作ります。とても簡単にできますので、大人の方から
お子様まで誰でも楽しめます。どうぞ足をお運びください。
～The“Gi”Group offers visitors Japanese craft activities, including
a Japanese envelop and a chopsticks stand. Those will be made with
washi paper. The activities are suitable for anyone from primary aged
children to adults. Please come and join us! ～

■今回のメル校デーで中学部 G8,9 は「私の伝えたいこと」という
テーマで、一人ひとりがプレゼンテーションを行います。また、
中学部 G7 は英語劇「浦島太郎」を発表します。ぜひご覧下さい。
～ This year the junior high school year8,9 students will give presentations
on what we want to tell you.Year7 students will perform a Japanese
famous traditional story ‘Urashima-Tarou’ in English. Please come and
see our presentations and drama.～

〜Calligraphy means beautiful writing with a brush. Calligraphy is an art. Let's learn how to write Japanese
characters. You will learn fundamental skills of calligraphy and enjoy the scent of 'sumi ' as you complete your own
character. Please enjoy the sumi experience and the world of 'sumi' (ink) by putting water into an inkstone and
enjoying the scent as we create beautiful work. ‘Sumi’ is an art that focuses the artist and brings a sense of calm as
brush meets paper. Let's enjoy the world of calligraphy.～
