Peter Heegaard 博士。デンマーク工科大学所属国立獣医学研究所の主任研
究員として 15 年間勤務したあと、2008 年からは同研究所で自然免疫学の教授
を務める。タンパク質化学と免疫学を専門とした生化学者としての経歴をもち、同分
野で博士号を保有。一貫した研究テーマは感染・炎症に対する宿主反応（特に急性
期反応）で、広範なモデルや応用を対象としている。学部時代の「マウスにおける無
菌性炎症モデル」の研究に続き、感染動物の診断分析、ワクチン・アジュバント、感
染の宿主反応の研究を行っている。同研究所で 6 年間にわたりプリオン研究プロ
ジェクトの責任者を務め、さまざまなプリオン病モデルにおけるペプチドのフィブリル
化、ペプチド特異的抗体、デンドリマー・ベースのタンパク質溶解剤の研究を行っ
た。最近では、自然免疫学の教授就任（2008 年就任、2014 年終身雇用）に伴
い、大型動物モデルにおける宿主反応の研究に従事している。科学出版物は 150
件以上、6 つの特許を保有。現在、免疫グロブリンを使った家畜（養殖魚、近代シス
テムでの養豚を含む）の感染防止、またブロイラーや畜牛への応用に関する複数
の研究プロジェクトを率いている。
Peter Heegaard has worked as a Professor in innate immunology
at the National Veterinary Institute of the Technical University of
Denmark (DTU Vet) since 2008 and before that for 15 years as a
senior scientist at the same institute. He has a background as a
biochemist with a basis in protein chemistry and immunology and
holds a PhD within this subject. A continuous theme in his work has
been host responses to infection/inflammation, especially the acute
phase response in a very wide range of models and applications.
After pre-graduate work on an aseptic inflammation model in mice,
he continued working on diagnostic assays for infections in
veterinary animals, vaccine adjuvants and host responses to
infections. He also was in charge for 6 years on prion research
program at the institute with focus on peptide fibrillation, peptidespecific antibodies and dendrimer-based protein solubilisers in
various models of prion disease. More recently his research has
focused on host responses in big animal models, backed by his
appointment as Professor in innate immunology in 2008 (tenured in
2014). He is the author of more than 150 scientific publications and
six patents. He is currently leading a number of research projects
on the use of immunoglobulins for protection against infection in
production animals, including fish in aquaculture and pigs in modern
production systems, and also has worked with the same principle in
broilers and in cattle.
Lone Gram 理学博士。1960 年生まれ。2000 年からデンマーク工科大学
システム生物学部で微生物学の教授を務め、バクテリア生態生理学・生物工学
の研究グループを率いる。研究内容は、病原性細菌の抑制と、これを目的とす
る善玉菌の生物工学的利用など。プロバイオティクスとしての海洋生物活性菌
や、生物活性化合物の生成を中心に、抗菌の研究に取り組む。王立農業獣医
大学（現コペンハーゲン大学）にて微生物学の理学修士号（1985）および博士
号（1989）を取得。学術データベース Web of Science への掲載論文数は
180、被引用回数は 7,000 回以上、h 指数は 48。デンマーク工科大学ではプ
ロジェクト参加の学生、博士課程の学生、博士研究員を指導するほか、応用微
生物多様性の授業で教鞭をとる。複数の科学誌の査読者を務め「Applied
and Environmental Microbiology」の編集者でもある。国内外の多くの委
員会のメンバーを兼任。現在、デンマーク独立研究評議会（自然科学部門）の
代表
Lone Gram, born 1960, is professor in microbiology at
Department of Systems Biology, Technical University of
Denmark. Lone was appointed professor in 2000 and is leading a
research group in bacterial ecophysiology and biotechnology. The
purpose of the work is two-fold: to control pathogenic bacteria
and to enable biotechnological use of beneficial bacteria,
especially, but not exclusively, to control pathogenic bacteria.
The group work on antimicrobials with an emphasis on marine
bioactive bacteria as probiotics or producers of bioactive
compounds. Lone holds a PhD (1989) and a MSc (1985) in
microbiology from the Veterinary and Agricultural University
(now Copenhagen University). Lone is author of 180 publications
registered in Web of Science, is cited more than 7.000 times and
has an h-index of 48. Lone has supervised project students, PhD
students and postdoctoral fellows and teaches “applied microbial
biodiversity” at DTU. She is a reviewer for several scientific
journals and has been editor of Applied and Environmental
Microbiology. She is also member of many international and
national committees and is currently the chair of The Danish
Council for Independent Research | Natural Sciences.
Ole Kaae Hansen 氏は、HAMLET PROTEI 社の共同創設者であり、

物の健康促進、効率改善。化学工学分野の理学修士。酵素開発や大豆プ
ロテイン加工の研究経歴をもつ。
Ole Kaae Hansen is co-founder, former owner and former CEO of
HAMLET PROTEIN A/S, a company specialised in promoting health and
efficiency in young animals through its unique feed ingredients.
He holds a M.Sc. in chemical engineering and has a research background
within enzyme development and soya protein processing.
