昨今のグローバル化に伴い、我々が直面する問題も日々
多様化・複雑化しています。東京大学においてもそれらの問
題に対応していくために、研究機関として国際的かつ学際的
に教育の在り方を再考することが求められています。また、現
実の問題を解決するためには、学問と産業の垣根を超えて
問題に取り組む産学連携も不可欠となっています。
GTLでは今回、マサチューセッツ工科大学（MIT）で環境シス
テム学の研究に取り組むセリン准教授をはじめとしたMITの
研究者を柏キャンパスに招き、“MITと東京大学との国際連携
の推進”と“産学連携のプロジェクト”をテーマに講演とパネル
ディスカッションを行います。同時に、GSFS大学院生によるポ
スタープレゼンテーションも行います。
Due to the recent trend of globalization, several problems today
are becoming more diversified and complicated. To cope with
these issues, the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences (GSFS) at
the University of Tokyo, as a research university, is promoting
international and interdisciplinary graduate education and
collaboration between the academia and industry.
In this symposium, we have invited Assoc. Prof. Noelle E. Selin,
specialist in the field of environmental systems, and other
distinguished researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) to be guest speakers. This event will provide
the venue for panel discussions on the theme of “Accelerating
Global Teamwork, MIT and UTokyo” and “Collaboration across
Industry and Academia.” A poster session by GSFS graduate
students will follow.
Global Teamwork Lab (GTL )は、多様性を含むチームワークに関する研究、ワークシ
ョップ、研修を行う産学共同パートナーシップです。私共のミッションは、チー
ムワークの能力を高め、最大のパフォーマンスを発揮するように変革することで
す。
企業、MITおよび東京大学の共同プロジェクトチームは、共同作業が必要とされる
様々な分野の課題に取り組みます（エネルギー、農業、医療、先進的デザイン、
エンジニアリング、生産、物流などの様々な分野が対象）
