•英国オックスフォード大学の研究者が2013年に発表した論文。
•著者であるFreyとOsborneは、米国の職業分類に基づく702の職種
について、それらが今後、コンピュータに代替されてしまう確率を計算
した。
•従来のような「単純労働がロボットに置き換わる」という話ではなく
て、「データを活用することで、これまで高度な判断を要すると考えら
れていた職種を人工知能やロボットに置き換えることができる」という
前提を置いて計算されたもの。

４．When will computer hardware match the
human brain?
• Hans Moravecが1998年に発表した論考。
• 生物が進化するほど、その生命活動において取り扱われるデ
ータ量と処理能力が幾何級数的に増大する。
• 人間の情報処理能力は、現時点の最高レベルのコンピュータ
よりも高いが、今後、ムーアの法則により、ハードウエアのコス
ト性能比が飛躍的に改善すれば、人間の脳と同程度の能力
を持つコンピュータが安価に製造できるようになる日は遠くは
ない、とMoravecは予想した。

５．技術的特異点（Technological Singularity）
• 自己改修可能な汎用人工知能が実現すれば、非常に大きな
社会的な影響が生じる、という議論。
• 「コンピュータ技術の発達により、機械の知能が人間の知能を
超える時点」を、技術的特異点（Technological Singularity）と
呼ぶ。
• レイ・カーツワイルは、ムーアの法則を延長すれば、遠くない将
来に、コンピュータの能力が向上し、人工知能の能力が人間
のそれを超えることを予言した。そして、その期日を2045年
頃と予想した。 ⇒ 「2045年問題」とも言われる。

６． ITは金融をどう変えるのか？
• 金融業界は、変化によりリスクが拡大することを警戒して、と
もすれば現状を維持したいという力が働きがち。
• 未来予想の当否は不確かだが、技術的な可能性が議論され
ている以上、今日と同じ明日が来る、という前提を置くことも
また根拠がない。
• ITが金融に大きな変化を迫る状況になった場合に備えるため
にも、未来に向けた前向きの取り組みが必要とされている。
