In this course, students are expected to develop the ability to read articles and essays on
business world in English, which will qualify them to make academic researches at university level.
It will afford good practice in reading English papers and essasys correctly, rapidly and
critically.

We cannot tell whether an article or paper is worth reading or not before we have read
through it.
It is, therefore, necessary for students to develop the faculty of reading documents rapidly
but correctly, and with a critical eye.

It is expected for students to become efficient enough to comprehend the content of a
discourse, summarize it, and related clearly what they think about it.
