軍縮・不拡散促進センターは、標記の研究会を開催する運びとなりました。
本研究会では、CBRN テロに高い脅威認識を持つ米国及びイスラエルから政府・非政府の専門家を講師として
お招きし、CBRN テロ対策技術の研究開発動向などについてご報告をいただいたうえで、ご参加の皆さまと議
論をしたいと存じます。

The 3rd forum of research project on the technology to counter crimes and
terrorism
“Current Developments in Counter-CBRN terrorism technology”
Funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, (MEXT) JAPAN
JIIA will hold a forum titled “Current Developments in Counter-CBRN terrorism technology” on 15
December, as one of the public activities of research project funded by MEXT, Japan. In the Form, we
have invited governmental and non-governmental experts as speakers from the U.S. and Israel, which
have the highest level of interest and performance in anti-terrorism technology and operations.
We would like to focus on the current situation of research and development in counter-terrorism
equipments in those countries. Also, we are interested in some institutional trend of research,
development and procurement process and what efforts they have made to build up more effective
mechanism of inter-agency cooperation. We have asked Mr. Masahiko Hamada, Col., vice-commander,
JGSDF Chemical School to make some comments on the speakers’ presentations. We hope we could learn from
U.S. and Israel to build more effective mechanism of inter-agency cooperation in preparing and responding to the
CBRN terrorism.
