VAT（付加価値税）の払い戻し
を受けるには
VATの払い戻しが受けられるのは次の場合です。
• 通常、EU以外の国に居住している
• EU以外の国に居住しているが、英国で就労中、
または英国の学校の
学生である場合は、12ヶ月以上EUを離れることが証明できる場合に限
り、払い戻しを受けられる可能性があります
• EUの居住者でも、EU外の目的地に向けて英国を出発し、12ヶ月以内
にEUに戻らない場合は、払い戻しを受けられる可能性があります。
上記いずれの場合でも、次のことが条件となります。
• 上記カテゴリーのいずれかに属することを証明するものとして、旅券、
査証、
その他の関連文書を税関に提示できる
• 品物の購入後、4番目の月の最終日までに、EU外に持ち出す（例：1月1
日または31日に購入した品物は、4月30日までにEU外に持ち出さなけ
ればならない）。
VAT（付加価値税）*の払い戻しを受けるには
欧州連合外に居住している方は、英国滞在中に購入した品物の多くについて、英国消
費税（VAT)の払い戻しを申請することができます。VATの税率は現在20%ですので、大
きなメリットになります。
加盟店から購入したVATを含む品物について
は、すべて払い戻しを申請することができま
す。ただし次は除外されます。
• サービス
（ホテルの宿泊代など）†
• インターネットまたはメールオーダーで購
入した品物
• 台座に取り付けられていない宝石
•
•
すでに使用を開始している消耗品
輸出承認書を必要とする品物（アンティー
ク品を除く）
• 価格が600ポンドを超え、商用目的で持ち
出すもの

払い戻しを受

品物の購入時に、ただちに、VATの払い戻しを申請したい旨を店員
に伝えてください。VAT還付申請用紙を渡されますので、
それに記
入し、署名します。
サンプルを参考にして、VAT還付申請用紙のすべての欄に記入して
ください。
VATの払い戻しを申請する品物を、預け入れ荷物の中に入れたい
場合は、手荷物検査通過前に税関に行ってください。税関でチェッ
クを受け、VAT還付申請書にスタンプを押してもらいます。払い戻
しは、VAT払い戻しデスク
（VAT refund desk）
でお受け取りくださ
い。
250ポンドを超える価格の宝石または電気製品で、機内に手
荷物として持ち込むものについては、手荷物検査通過後に税
関に行って下さい。税関でチェックを受け、VAT還付申請書に
スタンプを押してもらいます。払い戻しは、VAT払い戻しデスク
（VAT refund desk）
でお受け取りください。
VAT還付申請用紙の種類により、手続きは異なります。
クレジットカ
ードへの払い戻しや、小切手の自宅送付となる場合もあります。現
金での払い戻し
（手数料がかかる場合もあります）は、様々な通貨
で受け取ることができます。
