FAMILY OF FAITH CAMPAIGN
On behalf of the parish and all of the volunteers helping with the
Family of Faith campaign, thank you for your prayers and support
of this historic effort!
LIFE CHAIN Today from 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Life Chain is a powerful and prayerful way to be a witness to
the truth and to life. It takes only one hour and all you have to
do is stand quietly with others at Yonge and Steeles, holding a
sign with a message.
PREPARATION FOR THE SACRAMENTS
Registration for First Communion & Confirmation are held at
the Parish office during office hours. Please bring with you a
copy of your child’s baptismal certificate. Fee: $50.
-Tuesday, October 14th - 7:30pm – Presentation Night for
Confirmation students and parents in the Parish Hall.
-Tuesday, October 21st – 7:30pm – Presentation Night for
First Communion children and parents in the Parish Hall.
Attendance is mandatory.
THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
As we reserve a day to express to the Lord our thanksgiving for everything
He gave us let us help the hungry and homeless within our community by
participating in the annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. With your help the
St. Vincent de Paul Society can reach those in need.
PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL MEETING on Tuesday, October 7
at 8:00pm in the Rectory Hall. All members please be present.

YOUTH CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC FAITH
Come and join us to discuss and reflect on the 527 Questions and Answers
from the new, youthful, solid teachings of the Church found in Youth
Catechism of the Catholic Faith – YOUCAT. Sessions begins Oct. 6,

Municipal Elections 2014 – Cast Your Vote! - A municipal election
will be held on Monday, October 27th. All Catholics are strongly
encouraged to exercise their democratic right to vote. We hope you’ll take
the time to get to know those seeking elected office. To ensure your vote
for Catholic School Trustee, at the polling booth, verify that you are
registered as a separate school supporter. If your support status is incorrect
ask for an Application to Amend Voters' List. This form may be
completed and submitted at the polling station. Thank you for your interest
and involvement in this fall’s municipal election!

Radio Maria porta in ogni casa la Parola di Dio e l’invito alla
testimonianza cristiana. Ringraziamo il Signore per questo
dono prezioso, facciamo conoscere questa radio a chi non la
conosce e sosteniamola con generosità.
CATENA PER LA VITA – Oggi - 2:00pm alle 3:00pm
La Life Chain è una semplice dimostrazione accompagnata
dalla preghiera per dare testimonianza a favore della Vita.
Dura solo un’ora, e siete tutti invitati a stare insieme in
silenzio portando un cartellone. Il luogo assegnato alla
nostra Chiesa è l’incrocio di Yonge e Steeles. Contiamo
sulla vostra presenza!
PREPARAZIONE AI SACRAMENTI
Sono iniziate le iscrizioni del Catechismo per i bambini della
Comunione e della Cresima. Ricordatevi di portare una
copia del certificato di Battesimo e l’offerta di $50.
Per gli studenti delle scuole pubbliche e private il programma
è di 2 anni, mentre per quelli delle scuole cattoliche il corso
dura solo per un anno.

FESTA DEL RINGRAZIAMENTO
Da parecchi centri di assistenza ai poveri ci giunge la
richiesta di cibo: venendo in Chiesa, portate del cibo in
scatola che sarà poi mandato ai poveri. Grazie al vostro
impegno la Società di S. Vincenzo potrà aiutare le persone
bisognose.
